Business Insight Series Provides the Inland Empire with Economic Hope

Ontario, CA (February 28, 2011) – The City of Ontario and Estrada Strategies will host this year’s Business Insight Series at the Ontario Convention Center on March 16th. The Series, now in its third year, is a gathering of CEOs, managers, entrepreneurs and owners of small businesses within the Inland Empire.

The recession has been the elephant in the room – something that wreaks havoc but few want to talk about. Small businesses have weathered the brunt of this chaos. In acknowledgement, President Obama has invested $2 billion directly toward small businesses, stating, “Entrepreneurs embody the promise of America.”

Obama emphasizes that small businesses play a “critical role in expanding our economy and creating jobs.” On cue with the President’s message, the Business Insight Series provides innovative strategies and practices for small business owners. Its goal is to share ground-breaking business practices and to invigorate economic opportunities for small business owners.

In these challenging times, small businesses need to be strategic in order to succeed. According to Ruben Estrada, CEO of Estrada Strategies, “While the recession may have dampened the spirit of many businesses, savvy business owners know not only how to survive, but to thrive during lean economic times.”

The series will open with Ruben Estrada speaking on “The Power of Planning:  How to Develop your Strategic Plan.” The keynote speaker is Steve Pontell, President of the La Jolla Institute, a California based, non-profit think-tank. Beyond the keynote address and the presentation on “The Power of Planning,” the series will focus on two additional areas entitled “The World Is Flat: Taking Your Small Business Global” and “New Economy: How to Thrive in this New Economy.”

This year’s Business Insight Series is a unique opportunity for small business owners and partners to gain skills how to thrive in this challenging fiscal environment. “Even in these challenging times, we are proud to bring the Business Insight Series to our community, because we know small businesses are the backbone of our economy,” says Estrada.

The Business Insight Series will be held March 16th at the Ontario Convention Center at 2000 E. Convention Center Way, Ontario, California. Sessions run from 8:00 AM to 4:30 and include either a small breakfast or lunch. Tickets cost $69 and can be ordered online at www.businessnsightseries.com.
